We visited the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune in September 2023. It is an eccentric gem of a chateau not to be missed if you are in the area, a truly remarkable place that is situated in the Côte de Beaune area in the southern part of the Côte d'Or Burgundy, France.

The Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune is a 14th century fortified castle listed as a historical monument. This incredible place is home to unique collections: fighter planes, motorcycles, Abarth racing cars, models, fire engines, tractors and many other curiosities. Since 1979, Michel PONT, owner of the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune, has opened the museums to the public every day to share his passions. His son, Christophe PONT, takes care of the vineyard of the Château with his domain "Les Caves de l'Orangerie" and invites you to discover some of the best appellations of Burgundy wines.
The Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune Nine different houses nine "museums" in one place that are all engineering based. The star attractions are nearly 100 fighter aircraft parked in a field! One of the finest and rarest collections of Fiat Abarth prototypes, as well as one of France’s most important motorcycle museums with its historic racing cars, including that of the Mayor of Dijon, Canon Kir.
Wander through the grounds and discover the impressive collection of airplanes and helicopters. Come and admire MIGS, Dassault and 4 aircraft from the Patrouille de France. The Château de Savigny-les-Beaune is also home to an exhibition of some 30 tractors enjambeurs (tractors used to farm vines) and some 20 firefighting vehicles.
The château will enchant young and old and mechanical enthusiasts alike!
